    Training with power.

I love to see how long, far and high pros ride for. Makes it all more real for me.

My 20 minute power is less than that! I need to start eating more tainted beef...

Do people recommend riding with power? I'm kind of torn between what I do now (HR-cadence etc) and making the jump to trying power numbers. Im open to suggestions/exepriences. Thanks

If you're training for something, yes. If you're riding for yourself, no.

I do a lot of sportives and train a lot but i don't race, so I'm guessing its a waste of time.

Well it's certainly not necessary. Just enjoy your riding.

It works if you want to get better and train for specifics. It's not necessary though, just have fun on your bike...

Frenchie, do you have any idea where this picture was taken? Oss and Ballan (almost) local to each other and I'm curious about where and when this was?

Looks like the start of this year's Fizik Granfondo in Marostica.

Google says that Osteria Madonnetta (sign in the background) is a restaurant in Marostica, so ten points to you.

I have to admit I cheated and had a look at Ale Ballan's Twitter to see what he's been up to. Not a lot by the looks of things.

OT, but I wonder what he's going to do when his ban expires this year?

There are better pictures in pro-cycling mag, but can anyone tell me where Valverde gets his bibshorts from?

They have some kind of pimpled action going on. Generally the kit he wears looks the nuts, but none of it seems to resemble the kit available on the endura website.

    Can anyone help?

Edit: actually that's not the pair of shorts, but I can't find the ones I'm looking for - they're in the big pictures in the Valverde interview in pro-cycling.

    Dimpled - aero.

I suspect they re "special" Endura...They ll be available to us next year or something. It loks a bit like the texture on the Equipe range....

That looks like the same mould as my Starley R1. I don't know how that bike rides, but mine is stiff as fook.

Only pic I have of this bike. By the look of it, the amount of carbon around the BB area is huge.

What am I missing with that bike? Looks pretty boring/standard.

Looks lovely. Having experience of trying to integrate 3D printed titanium parts into a bike frame I can tell you they cost a bomb and interestingly no prices yet for this frame.

Could be the WT Summer Bib Shorts as below, or a development we'll see next year. Take a look at their Custom range stuff

    That kit is nasty

And agreed on Cav - especially after the high profile launch of his cvdsh kit
