A bit of a flutter
Who's had a bet so far?
I've had a couple as follows, only a few quid E/W.
Kristoff for Green at 20/1 (3 places)
Froome for KoM at 5/1 (3 places)
De Marchi for KoM at 80/1 (3 places)
Demare for stage 1 at 12/1 (4 places)
Kwia for GC at 150/1 (3 places)
The last one was placed after wine in about April. D'oh!

Paddypower are doing head to heads on each stage which interest me - a few years back I used to make money on betting on Cadel like this on non-GC stages.
I now vow that I will bet £5 on one of these bets on ever stage and see it goes. (I've done this on every game in the World Cup and I'm about even at the moment). I will post my picks and progress here.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Good luck. I'm going to do a fiver here and there on stages too. Been between £50 and £100 up for the last 2 years. Had Quintana at 28/1 and J-Rod at 18/1 last year.0

Only problem with Betfair is the lack of liquidity in the markets, assuming you're talking about the exchanges.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0 -

I'm definitely tempted by Reichenback for top 10. Nearly went for that earlier.0 -

Colombia 7/2 to beat Brazil. Wrong sport, but good odds - Brazil not a great team and Colombia very good.0

Anybody found a market for Cav not to win a stage?I think he may get one or two but worth a punt if a decent price IMO0

No, have had a look though as I have a feeling he isn't going to win any this year too.0 -
Coral just gave me a £5 free bet, don't know why.
Anyway, I invested it in a treble at approx 9/1 on stage 1.

Bet365 would have had a price for +/- 0.5 stages in the stage wins markets. No chance you'll get it now though obvs.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0 -

I've taken to this betting lark for this years TDF. For Stage 1 I HAD (and lost):
Fabian Cancellara to win @ 150/1
Winning Margin to be 2+ Seconds @ 21/1
(You have no idea how much I was cheering when he attacked).
For the rest of the tour:
Simon Yates Young Rider Classification Overall @ 26/1
Over 0.5 Rider Stage Wins for Fabian @ 20/1
Over 1.5 Rider Stage Wins for Alberto Contador @ 11/1
Fabian Cancellara Podium Finish Overall @ 501/1
Then i have some more that I'd best not post.Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/scalesjason - All posts are strictly my personal view.0
