Quintana looks like a strawberry chew0
-
GC aside winning a stage like today's has great kudos attached to it.0
-
Zardini, Chalapud, Wellens, chasing Cataldo, Pellizotti, Geschke, Belkov, Monsalve, Cattaneo, Dumount. We've seen this before.0
-
Pantano showing the most ineffectual clip off the front I've seen in a while0
-
And now Europcar preparing an early Rolland attack. Deja vu all over the place.0
-
Eurosport ad break drinking game = drunk in 30 minutes. :x"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0
-
Chasing group should make contact with the leaders on this climb. Peloton over 6 mins back.0
-
Wellens is really going for this.0
-
The break has lost 30 seconds in the last few mins. Now at 5'24"0
-
Pozzo, Sicard and Majka a little ahead of the maglia rosa group.0
-
It's not much of a peloton now and the gap has been reduced to just over 4 mins in no time.0
-
I'm not sure Hesjedal is in the pink jersey group.

I think 76 points are available today if a rider gets to the top of each climb first (which obviously includes the stage win). Another 3 points tomorrow. Cataldo could scrape it if he does all this with Arredondo not getting any points. Highly unlikely obviously, but II like his never give up attitude.0 -
Just 30km to go and the gap is back at around 6 mins.0
-
Gonna need a good 8 or 9 minutes to have a chance I reckon.0
-
What have I missed apart from Cataldo's brave efforts to win the KOM jersey?Correlation is not causation.0

Text message from my Dutch teacher - new cycling fan as of Tuesday - while I was being subjected to all manner of horrible info about drone strikes yesterday and missing the stage... "Barbie is racing up a mountain, why?"Correlation is not causation.0 -
7km between the groups on the road right now.
ATC - not much! Zardini, Wellens and Chalapud made a good effort to get into the lead group. Pantano had a chat about leaving the main field with Movistar but nothing came of it.0 -

Could be close if you're right and Kellys assessment that they'll gain another couple of minutes to add to the 7 they have already.0 -

I like your Dutch teacher!
Apart from Cataldo....
Europcar have set Rolland up for a long effort. Has meant the favourites are pretty much without team mates now.0 -
Break have 7:30 now.
I'm not sure even Quintana can pull back over a minute and a half for every km of the Zoncolan given some of the people the break. We'll see.0 -
It's going to be a close one, I guess it'll depend on how early the GC riders kick it off. Apparently a break has never won on the Zoncolan.0

UCI should make beards illegal0

Pellizotti the only one I can see hanging on. What was he, 5th yesterday?0

It's funny, the break is really big and the peloton is quite small. Not your normal situation. Kelly seems to think it's touch and go.0 -
I hope someone from the break makes it. Movistar spread out a bit to neutralise any early attacks?0
