Still a long way to go, but Arredondo has to be one of the best signings of the season. Taken like a duck to water at this level. And he came without the usual mythical Colombian climber hype, instead was always called a dodgy one by the Asia tour following nutjobs.

The phrase "pocket rocket" seems tailor made for Arredondo. He looks as though he's built like a bulldog.

As with most road cyclists though, I'm guessing if he stood next to an average person he would look tiny.
