So, I'm guessing that something is clamped into the two black horizontal shoe-box shapes, and the piston part is then used to exert a force to either press these together or pull them apart?

    Am I close?

So in the process of fixing an automotive problem, a tool of some description has to be dismantled and then the opposite for re-assembly prior to another job?... Hmm...

    Phil d takes it.

It's for pulling a broken screw driver blade out of the handle so you can put a new one in.

    Post a picture Phil.

Company policy is to change the blade, so we change the blade and i get a credit for the broken part.

Do you have any idea how much Snap On tools cost? The great thing about them is that if you manage to break one next time the truck comes round you generally get it replaced. Or repaired if it's repairable.

F*ck me. I thought it was something sophisticated. Can't I get the consolation prize for the most legwork or a Snap-on Voucher? :D:D:D
