Nice bike mate, some good upgrades so far. What fork is currently on there and what have you been thinking of buying?

  • Giantmatt75Giantmatt75 Posts: 149

How do reach the brakes from that angle! I do quite like the blue touches
  • Giantmatt75Giantmatt75 Posts: 149
Angle is fine as my seat is high , inline with my forearms when I'm on it :)

Looks really good! Looks very high end! Have you thought about upping the travel to 120mm?
  • Giantmatt75Giantmatt75 Posts: 149
Thanks folks , yes was 100mm as standard . Thought about upping the travel but really like it like this . Giants tend to have long head tubes so want to keep the front end at a sensible height
  • Giantmatt75Giantmatt75 Posts: 149
    Forgot I ordered these

Fibrax end caps were the best colour match to the rest of my bits :)

And a blue alloy bolt for the hose clamp

Got out today for a good ride , forks are a massive upgrade from stock and cockpit fits well , wheels are on the heavy side so may get changed out at some point but very pleased :)
  • CqcCqc Posts: 951
I would recommend crest rims if you change the wheels, I have a pair and their great
  • Giantmatt75Giantmatt75 Posts: 149
Yes was looking at those with blue hope hubs but will see how these last as it was only going to be a cheap bike lol
  • Giantmatt75Giantmatt75 Posts: 149
Race face narrow/wide 34t chainring in blue ordered and some stronglight bolts for a 1x10 setup
  • James QJames Q Posts: 201
Bike looks really good! Love the changes you have made. Look forward to seeing the update with 1x10 :)
  • Giantmatt75Giantmatt75 Posts: 149

So wasted no time getting them fitted
