Just got this to get back into mountain biking after a couple of years away, got some bits on order so will update when they arrive :) already got charge sponge grips and m520 spds on it

    Hopefully have thomson 70mm stem and layback post within a couple of days , then I will be looking at a fork change.

    Forks bought :) just waiting for them , got a set of Fox f100 in black . Will be the last change for a while as I'm really happy with the bike

    Angle is fine as my seat is high , inline with my forearms when I'm on it :)

    Test ridden and feel great , time with the shock pump to dial them in but now I have the bike I wanted

    Looks really good! Looks very high end! Have you thought about upping the travel to 120mm?

    Thanks folks , yes was 100mm as standard . Thought about upping the travel but really like it like this . Giants tend to have long head tubes so want to keep the front end at a sensible height

    Got out today for a good ride , forks are a massive upgrade from stock and cockpit fits well , wheels are on the heavy side so may get changed out at some point but very pleased :)

    I would recommend crest rims if you change the wheels, I have a pair and their great

    Yes was looking at those with blue hope hubs but will see how these last as it was only going to be a cheap bike lol

    Race face narrow/wide 34t chainring in blue ordered and some stronglight bolts for a 1x10 setup
