I might even look into hiring one later in the year for my 40th birthday present.....Cervelo S5 Ultegra Di2.0 -
No idea, too many picks and loves, mood and weather dependent. 911 always near the top, as is the Quattroporte.
If I could only have one car though, it would be the RS6 Avant; family, dogs, bikes and still have fun on the drive.
But for this I shall go with something that offers refined comfort, not even a Maybach or a Rolls could offer. Porsche 919 Le Mans

Billionaire tech entrepreneur and investor Elon Musk has bought James Bond's iconic Lotus Esprit vehicle from The Spy Who Loved Me, with the intention of making its movie transformation from car to submarine a reality.
"It was amazing as a little kid in South Africa to watch James Bond in The Spy Who Loved Me drive his Lotus Esprit off a pier, press a button and have it transform into a submarine underwater," said Musk in a statement. "I was disappointed to learn that it can't actually transform. What I'm going to do is upgrade it with a Tesla electric powertrain and try to make it transform for real."0 -
Just one! That's a toughy. 288GTO? Always been a fan of the Daytona though. Would it be my only car in which case the Sultan of Brunei's 456 shooting brake was cool. Maybe an Aston though. Would it have to have any practical purpose? in which case an XF estate wouldn't be a bad shout. Quattroportes are nice. A Ferrari 550 WSR, understated for what it is and gorgeous.
Back to old cars I always liked the Gordon Keeble. As Colin said Bond Bugs are very cool, can't be many left. I quite like my boss's supercharged A35 for a bit of understatement. A vintage Alfa 8C would always be good.
Choose just one car you say.
But could I have a Mini as well?0 -
If I could only have one it'd be something big and practical, but alongside that I quite fancy an old Mini Cooper or 1275GT or else a 2CV. Why? I could probably afford to run one, Minis were fun to drive, I just like the style of the 2CV.[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]0

This thread is heading in the right direction but it has to be this for me....

Given the state of the roads, plods relentless prosecution of speed and rural roads being re classified with a blanket 50mph can i opt for one of these
If not, the new Range Rover Autobiography in Nara Bronze. Comfortable with great vision and no issue with the crap road surface. That or a Rolls Royce Wraith…..“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring”

As much as I'd love a Ferrari or Aston, if I could only have one car it would be an E-Type, just classic0

How about a Series 1 XJ12 in that awful pink colour? A friend bought one years ago for £200 and the seller put the cash on the mantelpiece and told him if it wouldn't carry him and 4 mates at 150mph he could have his money back.
A pink saloon car that could do 150mph in 1968. Mind boggling.

But that's not a car so it's not really in keeping with the spirit of the thread.
So in that case, prepare to be Top Trumped -

If I had an unlimited supply on money I wouldn't bother with a car. I'd either ride my bike or travel 1st class on the train.0

You have excellent taste. I used to have a model of the 250GTO as a kid, stunning car.
I'd still have a Zonda F instead though

The zonda is awesome, I've worked on several now but you just can't drive them.
Having said that, I have a few cars I don't drive and am happy just to look at them, some find that odd but for me its pure relaxation.Living MY dream.0 -
