I'm pretty sure he was just caught behind a crash at some point.

I hopes o or it leaves me a "Van" down for the rest of the race.

He definitely crashed, think he's out.

Liking the in car footage. Seems like the coverage is catching up with the 21st century for cycling following on from the discussion the other week about alternative cameras and more analysis of racing.

They had cameras in the team cars in this race about three years ago. Think the arguments about race radios may have put the kybosh on them for a year or two.

I have 9 riders in my fantasyy team. I seem to have spread a hell of a lot of hex about.

Anyone betting in-play can PM to find out who to avoid....

Devolder down, most of the Sky team held up as they were too far back. Odd one, single rider crashed then a load of others went out in sympathy.

Was Thomas held up in that? I saw a sky kit and it looked like it had the union jack on the arm. Hard to tell as it was a bit of a bundle.

Looked like some idiot that overcooked the corner just picked up his bike and tried to remount in the middle of a speeding peloton.

OPQS showing the others how to ride on narrow, dangerous roads. Whole team on the front.

Popovych down hard. Looked like a combination of gutter and a spectators bag.

Somebody down in the ditch. I think he caught the spectators coat. Lots of Belgians in sports casual brown jackets have come to his rescue. I bet if I zoomed in I would see a roll neck.

He was held up a touch, but didn't go down.

Not many left in the first group behind the break. More or less whole teams missing including Sky (one rider possibly Rowe or Eisel?) and Moviestar whilst OPQS and Trek look well represented.

One of those days where being in the break doesn't seem worthwhile as the cameras aren't interested in them.
