    Crosswinds are a serious issue.

Same height as me and you're 8st! You must have a tiny frame, I'm slim and 11st 7 - 3.5st heavier than you

It's a total PITA being so scrawny. If I could I would happily put on a stone or two....

    6' 2" (1.88 mtr)
    16 st 2lbs (103kg)

Did get down to 15st 7lbs (98kg) last year from a starting weight of 19st 10lbs (125kg) four years ago, but a chronic knee problem has seriously curtailed training of late and the weight has crept up. However knee op in two weeks and then hopefully back out riding by end of May.

Bike is Scott Foil 40 and is minimum UCI weight (whatever that might be!) but I'm still crap at climbing.

I am sure you know already but one of the main reasons why you are probably crap at climbing is your weight. I am taller than you, but weigh 20 kg less and do enjoy my climbing.

I,m 1.77m and 90Kgs at the moment. Could probably get down to 84Kgs but thats it. I,m not fat but well built and to get down to my ideal BMI weight i,d seriously need to think about having something amputated.

6ft3 and 14st having lost 3.5st since August, could still do with losing another stone or so ideally. No idea on bike weight at all.

184.15cm, 92kgs with ordinary clothes on, No idea on bike but should be around the 8.6kg given recent upgrades. I could lose about 7kgs max without looking like an extra from Bridge over the River Kwai.
    Someone's just passed me again
  • 196cm (6 foot 5) and weigh 127kg (20 stone) and ride a Giant TCR (size XL) whatever that weighs. Just started back after 4 months off with a knee issue and building base fitness again. I enjoy the climbs that i can conquer, however slow. I do roll very fast downhill and can get quite quick on the flats.

The problem with being heavy for downhills is when they get steep and especially if they've got turns, brakes and traction can be pushed to the limits. A little extra weight is great on gentle to moderate downhills though!

183cm ish and about 95kg, although that was the last time I weighed myself. Really want to get down to under 90kg if poss but find that really hard. Maybe its that middle age spread thing going on :)
