It's become completely predictable, in terms of the chase.
Very different from yesterday's bag of tricks.

Isn't the 'will they, won't they' pretty fascinating?

Paolini has found form. Lotto are a real disappointment. So are IAM.

Beautiful to watch this smooth as you like rotation in the front group.

They've certainly pulled it together from just after Oude Kwaremont, was a shambles for about 5km

Sporza discussing how van Summeren can win.

"You are van Summeren, the only man from your team. How do you win? What do you do?"

"He must attack. But how does he get away?"

Why should he be pissed? Katusha did f**k all for 30k of the chase. It's a bit rich to expect help from others when they've knackered themselves out. Perhaps if Katusha had helped Sky and Lotto chase earlier...?

Well, two of his guys did f'uck all in the peloton when the break was on 30 sec or so..

    Edit: ATC got it covered..
  • Paolini is so pissed and I dont blame him.

He could maybe take a look at why he wasn't in the first 15 riders hitting the most decisive climb.

Oh well, they messed up just like a lot of other teams - same with yesterday. It just so happens he is riding a ton on the front and the others are struggling to keep up with him so he has to keep letting up.

OPQS will win, but it won't be Boonan.

Hofland did not ride yesterday. I wonder whether that plays into his favour. He is in good enough form as has already won this year and he wont have been affected by the awful weather. Would bet on Boonen beating him in a sprint but wouldn't be so confident of getting my money back.

So, when the OPQS think they won't get caught do they fire one of their guys up the road? They've got to use their numbers more than just to lead Tom out.
  • Chase looked like it had given up there

People who've ridden a ton on the front:

Bak, Roelandts, Eisel, Knees, Stannard, Paolini.

Everyone else has been happy to sit in.

Wow a Giant on the front and now and FDJ. Hello gentlemen.

He's obviously feeling confident, he's got a skinsuit on.

Greipel is too big a favorite for the rest of the teams to reeeally wanting to dig in, though.
