There's some fascinating cycling stats on that page. It seems your favourite hard working domestique holds the record for the number of stage wins Frenchie.Correlation is not causation.0

So he does; won when he had to race for a living.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Looks like just the sort of course Cav will enjoy. Forgive me if I don't pick him in my fantasy team.0

Starts today.
No SKY riding so will get less attention on this forum. Lots of greats riders to enjoy.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Dont be a silly, Frenchie
Keen to see how Cav goes with Petacchi and Renshaw
Bert's wanting to come right out and slam it
Shorter TT this year which might reduce Martin's chances a tad of a repeat win?
Very keen to see how Kwiatkowski goes, that was a really classy win last week in Mallorca0 -

Could be an interesting stage, this from Rui Quinta's preview on Inrng:
"it looks like it’s for sprinters, but it’s not. The stage starts in Faro, the main city of the Algarve. At 1.1km before the finish there’s a roundabout riders have to get around to left and last year it caused some troubles. Then has a 500m hill between 6/7%, 100m flat and 500m downhill until finish line"0 -

Well that and the fact that Andalucia, also starting today, is on Eurosport.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
Races starting to come thick and fast. Think I'd rather watch this than Andalucía to be fair - although glad to have one on ES. Season's multi-tasking commences.http://www.georgesfoundation.org

I quite like this quote…
"It's a shame that we have to scavenge for information about Contador's first race of the season. #VoltaAlgarve"
Stage 1: 1. Sacha Modolo 2. Rui Alberto Faria da Costa 3. Alessandro Petacchi0 -
Oh Lampre 1-2, and nice by Rui. Cav nowhere...Contador is the Greatest0
-
Costa 2nd? Eh?
We need a race report pronto0 -
No disrespect to the top 10 but doesn't sound like a straight forward sprint.
1 Modolo, 2 Rui Costa, 3 Petacchi, 4 Coquard, 5 Napolitano, 6 Démare, 7 Pinto, 8 Schorn, 9 Tsatevich, 10 Lobato0 -

Costa 2nd and Cav 93rd in a bunch sprint?
Who swapped their transponders?"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
So...Costa set up Modolo - must have been a monster lead-out
Impressive0 -
Did Cav get dropped then on that little bump of 6/7% at the end?Correlation is not causation.0
