  • ok guys had it weighed today at the LBS, not the cheap scales i had lol
    and the way it looks just now weighed in at 31.80lbs , thats with tubes
    wire rim tyres so can defo save some weight here............but to be ohnest
    i think its ok for me....but ill see, in the middle of looking at a set of tubeless
    rims wheels etc so i can swap over when needed. :D

    No worries. I love the raw frames, but I think I'd have the candy orange myself, I like that even more.

    yes mate 26/36 up front..........11-40t on back...........medium cage......works great and a still
    keep the top speed up wae the 36t ring..........my mate runs 11-42 wae a 30t up front single sram
    xo1 but doesnt have top speed where i have best of both...seen it set up on a new KONA in the lbs
    boy says it work great

    lol mate prob never use that combination as 26/36 is good enuff...........but u never know lol

    Faced with anything steep enough to use that ratio I'd already have given up, thought "f**k this" and got off to push, (or lay on the floor groaning) lol.

    Id go 32 or 34t on the front and ditch the granny ring. Unless you are riding on the road or fire roads constantly I doubt you would be spinning out often.

    yeah mate ive got a 34t to try at sumtime and may even go single up front aswell, but
    ill wait and see how a get on this weekend....ill let use know :D

    well just back from glentress the day, and done the Black route all the way up non stop 26 front 40 on the back
    u can climb anything.......was just over 3000ft elevation from bottom car park to the pylon at the very top.......2hrs 33min cycling time from bottom to top and back down on map my tracks.....F****d lol :D
