Spoke to one suspension company and they have had to return quite a number of them for warranty from new as the dampers were defective. Also there have been cases of bushing knocking baldy from new.

you can return them to the UK distributer for warranty work

Not like the reverb then? I had to return the 3 faulty posts i had to the shop i purchased them from who then sent them back to distributor. Is that going to e any different with the forks? I also understand the warranty is not transferable so i would be careful buying a set anywhere other than the dealer (not that anyone would)

warranty is EU wide (assuming you bought it in the EU) warranty isn't transferable between owners but you don't have to take it to the dealer you bought it from although they won't be under any obligation to help you. You can also return it direct to the distributer in the UK or should be able to.
  • cheers guys................think ill take ma time and look around............maybe lyriks also but there more DH

you mean fisher not SRAM I take it - you can still ask the a dealer to send it back even if you have to pay the postage yourself which you would have to send back to Germany or to any online shop you bought it from. must just be the way they do it to keep it all organised I suppose. but you should still be able to get it sent back though an LBS unless they are cunts. the dealer should just log on to B2B and select the warranty bit

Sorry Fisher yes, I sent it back to the dealer and they sent me a new one whilst processing the warranty. I tried dealing with Fisher myself in UK and they just say sent it back to the shop you purchased it from. To be honest if i ran a LBS and someone came in with a reverb they bought Online i will tell them to deal with the shop they purchased it from as well. Why should they deal with the shit bits whilst someone else gets the sale.

are you tubeless? if you have cheap tubes they can be around 200g each if you went 1x you would loose a lot but other than that it would cost far too much :(
