The red strip on the tyres is a bit shouty for my liking but otherwise really nice bike you got there!! Are those CB wheels Cobalts or Iodines?0

The types and bash guard are a bit ott, but I like the frame0

Love it mate nice ride, only thing I'm not keen on is the red hoses. But then it's not my bike so what does that matter. Hope you enjoy it, now post some muddy pics0

hopefully it will be needing a good wash by Sunday............Glentress a hope.............Red gear cables yeah they will soon be black, all i had at the time, as for tyres, the grip is amazing as ive had them in black aswell.......they were only £24 each so they will do till i change them...only had that colour when i bought them.........but other than that i cant wait to get oot oan it.... 0

Those colours look awesome, liking all of the red stuff going on. Those KORE handlebars look very nice with the designs and the big lettering. Cool build!0 -
That is very nice indeed - I really like the El Guapo's. In fact, should I be able to baffle the missus (hard to do), and when it's time to change my C456, I fancy building one of these.
Stick some more pics up when you've changed the hoses to black please.
I also have some XC fire pro's in red for when the conditions change (was on my c456 when build completed) and I think they are great - bit of a marmite subject here though - and I found them in halfords clearance section and paid a total of £8

Can I ask what size the bike is? I'm 5 10 and thinking of ordering the full bike in a medium. Seems a great bike for £1500, but heard about one or two issues and just a bit wary about having to send it back if there's any problems.0

yes mate am 5 10 aswell 5 11...........its a large and perfect fit............medium wouid be cramped in
my opinion.............i bought frame and rear shock straight from Planet X this is on-one, no problems
delivered next day......never had a problem yet0 -

I'd buy them from Merlin, especially with the Pike and some of the issues people have been having with some of them. £576 delivered after discount.
