Post back when you have tried it. If it's any good I might have to get one. I prefer the monarch to the RP23's I have had but there is room for improvement.

Certainly will if I can get my hands on a kit. What other shocks will fit that would be an improvement out of interest?

Cane Creek Climb Switch or Double Barrel Air or a BOS air shock (forget the name) but servicing and spares can be a problem for BOS.
I have got a CCDB on my Scalp and it's the best shock I have ever ridden by a long way.
Marzocchi have a new air shock due out soon and if it's as good as their new coil it will be amazing.

how easy are the CCDBA to setup might be a bit beyond me as they don't have any base line setting for a mega TR dont want to spend the next 6 months chasing settings round.

The CCDB Coil is pretty easy to set up but it's so tunable I'm always tweeking it as my riding improves.
If you post in The Lounge on the Cane Creek website someone will give you some base settings.

Looks good. Really looks like it needs to be abused, these bikes love it!
I think my next change might be 1x10 and a new set of wheels.
