  • Ceramic bearings do make a wheel feel smoother and slightly faster so don't see why they would do anything different in a bottom bracket, plus why not, it's all fancy n stuff

I love this build! Keep going on looking at the Condor & Brian Rourke websites..... got to decide at some point!
  • I would honestly say go for it. If your worried about a steel bike weighing the same as a barge then don't, I think this is currently lighter than a lot if carbon bikes but can't confirm that just yet, will be able to say for definate soon though. Never mind that though, it's freaking cracking looking and I bet it rides just as good. Can't wait to get out in it.
  • First ride out today on the Acciaio, what can I say.... Absolutely outstanding. Zero flex when climbing, perfect corner balance, sprints like a whippet and so light its frightening. Not sure how much of this is only down to frame or how much is down to components though. Definitely happy with it and definitely lighter than my Focus, plus I think it rides better than the focus to. No numb hands, no vibration on rough roads and the C24's pick up speed instantly.
Anyone thinking of buying one just do it, you won't regret it.
Oh and anyone that thinks there is no difference in performance between Ultegra and dura ace group sets, think again. I honestly think there is a huge difference.
