    The number this year will be insane. I did back to back metrics (miserable!) last weekend and I think I just *held* my spot well outside of the top 10.

    The worst March cycling for years for me - moved office, did back in, had to catch up with work - three full weeks off the bike - lucky Saturday was a nice day so managed to get one century ride in but, boy, did the last 10 miles hurt!!

    Managed to not realise my last ride of May was in May rather than June so I actually started June on 17 points. But, as for the Dinosaur above, no worries if not added until the end of this month!
    Faster than a tent.......

    These two changes are now reflected in the rankings from May, as well as stanthomas' 31. May ride and feargalmcs May ride.

    BTW, the 119 MCC points we collectively rode in May was the biggest month I've seen in the last three years!

    I'm afraid I am out of the challenge. On 8th June I was riding home from a weekend in Shropshire when I was taken out by a fast moving cat!!!! Spent 2 weeks in hospital with a broken acetubulum (hip socket) and will be non weight bearing on the left for another 4 weeks.

    Good luck to everyone still in - enjoy it because it's total sh1t when you can't do it.

    Bad luck on the cat - I hope it wasn't badly injured! ;) No - heal up well.

    I think my totals are slightly wonky - nothing major - I think May might have been updated by me a little late.:

    Got the 24 hour TT out of the way now - doing 6 metric centuries in a day - so now I can knuckle down and get back into riding some long-distance events with the rest of summer. A couple of steady weeks coming up to recover from the 24 and then into a 1300km ride and a few 600s to round out the summer.

    Cheers Marcus - funnily enough the first question everyone asks is "How was the cat?" The answer is I don't know, as it didn't hang around to finish me off!
    Very envious of all the riding - I think it may be a long hard Autumn and winter to get back to anything like reasonable fitness. But on the upside its a good excuse to get out on the bike!
