Purito has already stated he isn't going for GC, just stage wins this time. Using it as prep for the Vuelta.

In addition to losing it through team inferiority, I think Froome will fade more than Contador in the 3rd week. I think its 50% that he DNFs through frailty.

Ah ok, I did think he would probably focus on the Vuelta. He basically did that last year until the third week though and ended up on the podium!

Can I also add: Valverde to podium, assuming no accidents.
Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy

You can't just go round adding Valverde to the podium... willy nilly...

Even if it means he might finally just fuck off?

I like him. His effort in last year's tour was stunning.

Surprised by the amount of Contador predictions.

Surprised by the amount of Contador predictions.

Not sure why. Froome looked a little short last week, even before his crash he couldn't pull away from Contador.

I think Contador needs to be able to pull away from Froome more than Froome needs to pull away from him.

Contador will get done for the most intense EPO doping ever seen but you ll all forgive him when he looks you with his big brown cow eyes and says his spanish "Aaaaaaaaaaaaeeeehhhhhhhhhh"

It's going to be a risk-avoiding, energy-conserving, two week borefest, then one of them will blink.

Froome will miss the Tour because of injury - the Clinic will implode.

    Damn that was close too.

Wiggins to ride the tour in support of Froome.
Brad will be a model teammate and then push it very very close in the time trial.
More chance of Mrs Wiggins and Michelle Cound becoming besties than this ever happening!

Cav to win on the Champs Elysees after losing out to the big German this year
    Cancellara to win another Roubaix
A rider from Torku to get busted
Froome to win the tour after difficulty with cobbled sections
    Sagan to win a classic
Quintana to win whatever Grand tour it is he is riding (Can't remember if it is Giro or Vuelta)
Dowsett to win another TT stage
Wiggins to ride grand tour and lose all motivation after the first week
Cancellara to beat hour record then have it taken off him by Martin

Yeah, so my predictions have pretty much cursed everyone. :(

There is still a chance of Counde and Mrs Wiggins becoming besties though

There are weather forecasters who'd kill for a success rate like that with their predictions.

Looking at some other predictions - this is good effort (bolding by me)
    Sagan will win Strade Bianche
Cancellara will take Roubaix and Flanders.
QPQS will back Cav 100% at MSR (Boonen won't even start) and he will take the win
Cav will leave Dublin in pink -
The Antrim Coast road will look spectacular on TV
Quintana will win the Giro - Porte and Evans make up the podium.
Froome/Nibali will split the one week races between them - Froome will miss the Tour because of injury - the Clinic will implode.
Boonen will win the cobble stage in the Tour
Nibali will win the Tour. Schelck and Contador make up the podium.
Contador will win the Vuelta.....then announce his retirement with immediate effect.

A newly angry/hungry Cav will return to form erm.... Probably did, but Kittel is now Das Man

Sagan HAS to win one of the monuments this year. I suspect it might be RVV. Stybar should be a big competitor Fail...on both counts mind you unless he has a stormer this weekend

I will man up and start training for the sportive of that same event BOOM!

Nino Schurter will continue to p1ss all over XCO so far so good Win

Aaron Gwin will re-p1ss all over DH So far so bad Fail

Me mate Marianne will continue being awesome so far so good well not so much really
