I have been watching Guy Martin - nothing but respect for the guy even if some part of him is nutcase .
I watched the gravity descent of Mont Ventoux. I think he was actually killed in last week's hovercraft record attempt. This week he wakes up in heaven where all his crew of mechanics, engineers and technical advisers are girlies.

He must have been 'another place' come to think of it because the prettiest one was Germanic. But God got it half right because the British one was goofy with a big gap in de teef.

    Inspector Montelbano on Beeb 4.

Fair play to him, he does shag 'em all.

I suppose that's quite impressive for Italy's answer to Grant Mitchell.

+1. And also a true story. Amazing to think Burt Monro's landspeed record set in 1967 for motorbike under 1000cc still stands today.

The main thing for me is that Strictly Come Dancing is NOT on the box any more. Living in a majority female household has meant I've had to suffer this dross for the last 3 months.

Any 'Sharknado' aficionados should tune into the Syfy channel now to watch 'Avalanche Sharks' :)

Great ! I had to laugh at the description of the story, apparently the sharks are awakened by an avalanche, and turn up in town while a bikini beauty pageant is being staged.

Sharks, bikini's, avalanches, what's not to like ?!
    ....I don't know why; It's a perfectly cromulent word....

Didn't get to watch telly Xmas night. My missus did though - worraloadabollox.
Soaps, dancin', midwives, Downton - FFS don't schedulers think that middle aged blokes, or blokes of any age may want to watch summat. The only saving grace was no fecking X Factor.

Is there anything that Coogan appears in that isn't dodgy?

Maybe it's me but I have never found him funny.

Bit of a choice to see me through the New Year tedium. Inbetweeners on E4, Father Ted on More 4 and Cockneys vs Zombies on Pick channel.

  • Charlie Brooker's review of 2014 on iplayer for me, a couple of episodes of Bottom maybe and then a film from the DVD collection if I can actually make a decision. So none of the regular scheduled tv then :|
