I've looked at the Mooves too. Those, the Superstars and Exotics all look very similar.

    Exotics?

    They are the same

Aye, dem ones. Appear to be identical, but with more discreet logos and a cheaper price.

Ah man, I ordered them for the girlfriend the other day and picked them up tonight from Royal Mail. I'm really pleased with them! They'll do the trick and look good on her Rockrider 5.3.

Still, once I decide on the colour combo for my Rockrider 8.1 I'll be ordering my own. Any suggestions?

A four page thread about grips. How did that happen? I thought it must have somehow turned to abuse but it's not even that.

    The pink ones

Do me a favour please, and whack a tape measure along them. Is the quoted 130mm the total width including lockrings, or just the length of the rubber grip?

130mm including lockrings which are approx. 8mm wide - the actual flat bit of the grip is approx. 98mm as it thickens at the ends

Cheers, they're on the narrow side then.

    fine for my hands

I have small hands too, but like the longer 150mm Superstar grips, since they move my hands inboard a little, without having to cut my bars down (740mm bars with 150mm grips feels great on my Full suss, but 750mm with 135mm grips on my hardtail seems to put too much weight on the outside of the heel of my hand, making it sore).

Ha, Kowalski675 I thought you were going for the Pink..... You first, I don't want to steal your thunder  Once you've done it and posted some pics of your bike with them, I'll follow your 'trend'.

In the meantime, here you go mate, but I think your Q has already been answered.

Total is 130mm inc locking rings with 100mm of actual grip before the raised/ decor ends of the grip.

Cheers. Excellent old skool plastic ruler there, btw. I'm seriously considering getting a pair of pink ones for my hardtail, lol. Fluoro pink, green, orange and yellow were very on trend back in my '80s BMX days...

    Old skool? That's high tech.
Wood was old skool. With a metal blade embedded in it to keep the edge.

    Seriously the youth of today.

Lol, I remember wooden ones too. Always preferred steel myself. It's a long time since I've been the youth of today... :(

Took me nearly an hour to locate a ruler here at work. Plastic, wood or metal they're like goldust! I say do it (the Pink) and bring back that 80s trend!

I think I'm going for the Grey w White Rings

Reckon I might have to give it a go, gor the sake of a few quid, lol. Always got my 60cm steel rule handy here, think my 30cm one must be in the garage currently.
