Could you just set up the turbo for Ventoux without the video? therefore negating the need for a high end PC?

If you want to do that get a Tacx Satori on sale from Decathlon, then either download the gpx route from bikely or gypsies or even better get hold of Tacx video 1956.34 (ebay, buy from forum etc) and run the software in my sig.

Blimey! Speed 8.5, cadence 26 and HR 34 on an 11.3% gradient? HTF did you manage that?

  • I've had mine 3 weeks now and I really think it's worth the money. I have no issues with getting myself motivated to climb aboard!!

I did the CP20 test when I first bought the machine and did another today and can see some improvements already....

Just got to keep sticking at it, and it does take a while to work out exactly what you want to do with it.

  • For anyone interested i will be looking to sell mine when i get back off this ship on leave, so will be selling in 2 weeks. If anyone is interested let me know and it saves me putting it on ebay?? It is the complete setup with the steering frame, handlebar control unit etc etc and polar t31 uncoded HRM. Will put pics up on my return to dryland,

I know someone who might be interested. What price and condition is it in?

  • Its in great condition as only used probably less than 10 times. I am only looking for 160 quid if they can collect. Otherwise courier on top. No box (hence pickup preferred, plus it saves reassembling at the other end.) but all together. I live in Hull and will be able to post pics when I'm back. Has original software and instructions etc etc.

I just wondered how you managed to knock out 8.5mph with a cadence as low as 26 and a HR of 34bpm on an 11.3% gradient.

It was a motor turning the sensor for testing purposes, the HR is a test signal as well. Used during development and I made a screen shot at that time but ti was a poor example. The video is me riding.
