They haven't won away from home for 211 days! Or to put it another way - they haven't won away for over a sixth of a Brexit - who will be out of Europe first?!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

Another good day of football Actually a good weekend of football.
It's good to see plucky little teams like Spurs and City having a go against the big boys, even if they get beaten."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

it was fun for a bit but they have been so rubbish for so long now it isn't really fun or a surprise anymore. Although it is funny that they have bought players from Leicester, Crystal Palace and Swansea and they are all doing great - sold two of their players to Inter and they're also doing great!
I think city losing in the league means they'll throw everything at europe this year and in effect handing the league to Liverpool as the ret of the league is pretty awful really. would any player from outside of city or liverpool from the rest of the league make it into either of their teams? i can't think of any.www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

I’ve just poured a glass of my favourite whiskey in anticipation of watching Wolves beat City.
It will be interesting to see what the table looks like at Christmas and how much further Spurs and Utd can fall as both teams have quality players who aren’t currently playing for their respective manager.“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. I wonder when Citeh will overhaul Liverpool this season.
You never know, it might be their year...what could possibly go wrong?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Why ever not? The confidence of a CL win, coming second in a title with 97 points knowing the same total would almost guarantee the win (City are 3 wins behind already), the knowledge that they can maintain this level of intensity throughout the season.
They are the only team in the PL playing with the amount of determination required to go all the way currently.
I think City are now missing a commanding central defender. What's the betting Pep will look for a defender in the transfer window?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

No disrespect to Arsenal but I'm glad they didn't score last night. That result practically doubled my Fantasy Football score for the week (and I only have one SU player). You can fool some of the people all of the time. Concentrate on those people.0

i disagree - small clubs who qualify usually do really badly the following season having to juggle europe with the league and having smaller squads makes their lives much more difficult. Big clubs seem more up for it now the champions league spot is up for grabs.
remind me - which small team was it that won it last year?www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0
