Then that's all you need mate! Like i said everyone hated purple on my bike, but i'm the one who has to live with it and if i love it then who cares0 -
At least no one will steal it when it looks that bad.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

I think it looks cool and I dont normally like flashy colours.
TBH, Its probably more attractive to a thief seeing as they dont know about bikes, so if it looks fast (you know what i mean) they see that as expensive. Probably not what you wanna hear but I have to disagree with rockmonkey somehow0 -
Not my cup of tea, but then I can hardly talk, my bike's bright blue and fluoro yellow.Cube Analog 2012 with various upgrades.0

So after two months of pinch flats and punctures galore. Lots of for fuck sake at the top of my voice in what I call puncture rage, I have decided its time for some stans no tubes. Now question is, has anybody had any experience with my/ similar rim and tyre combo? Or will I benefit from different rims? Not that I would if I didn't have to they have taken some abuse. Just a bit of helpful insight.

Funnily enough I went tubeless on my EN521 rim/Hans Dampf about a month ago. I used a kinda Ghetto method though. Used some 25mm wide Gorilla tape to seal the rim (perfect width for it) and cut a presta valve out of an old tube. Then sealed the tyre on with some Stan's sealant and it was super easy. The tyre went on with just a normal track pump hassle free. Its been no problems since I did it.
I will be trying it with my Minion DHF on the rear soon, not sure if it will hold as it's not a tubeless specific tyre like the TR Hans Dampf but worth a shot to lose the tube.0 -
Same as oxocube, used gorilla tape on a few different rims and works perfectly, only difference is I'm using a set of DT swiss valves.0

Hoping it will lighten things up a tad as well. Not that I find it heavy but every little helps.SHUT UP AND RIDE!!!

I can justify the stans no tubes, seat post clamp and orange ss nanos as Bday presents from people. Really want the 2015 alpine decals as they are neon orange and will look great. Sure I can find £20 somewhere for them.SHUT UP AND RIDE!!!

used gorilla tape and DT valves on 2 sets of wheels that are not tubeless and they went up with a ghetto compressor.0 -

Well I got a stans conversion kit and I have to say, it was very easy to do save for the frantic pumping on the floor pump. Have held pressure for two days which is good, I really didn't expect them to stay inflated. Also got a new saint bb as the old one has been needing replaced for a month or so. Need a new cassette in the next couple of weeks seen a slx 11-36 for a steal on CRC that will be getting added as this on is on its last legs.SHUT UP AND RIDE!!!

2015 fox 34 160 factory fork arriving this week, very excited to get them on the bike and some miles in. Got to be much better than the utter piece of "lots of four letter words" that was on before. A fork which should be renamed the warranty series not evolution. But lets not get into that, fox/mojo were great and did the right thing and have restored confidence back with their excellent help and service. Will post some updated pics this week.SHUT UP AND RIDE!!!

Free of charge courtesy of fox/mojo. But it is a bit of a pisstake having 3 warranty issues on a fork in a year on top of the sub par performance. Fingers crossed this new one will be 100% better.SHUT UP AND RIDE!!!

should be better damped but does it still not suffer from the same soft linear spring?0 -

Wow not only do they look 100 times better they feel 100 times better. So plush but also supportive and doesn't dive, the trail mode is actually suitable to be ridden without shaking you to bits and the trail adjust actually works as well.
2.5 hour ride to get some proper riding on them can't wait. really are a far cry from the evo damper.

Soooo much better than before so much smoother and the bike feels really balanced now. My local loop was so much more enjoyable knowing I didn't have to tip toe around with a poor fork that might explode or top itself if it looks at a rock, berm or drop.
