When the price of a gallon of petrol exceeded £1, and my step dad was shocked and disgusted
I remember at a time when petrol was about 37 pence per gallon seeing a small sign on a petrol pump which read
"not to be used if price exceeds £1.50 per gallon"
I recall thanking that petrol would never be that dear........ :oops:0
