Not sure what model of saddle it is i.e if that is standard (Doesn't look it) But I've seen it on a few pro bikes recently, the same material.

It looks like clip on TT bars in conjunction with trimmed drop bars/ bullhorn bars. With regular shifters fitted in the orientation of aero brake levers...
    Red bikes are the fastest.

I'm having a little trouble seeing how more batteries, more electronics, more sending and receiving units will be much of a "step ahead". At least for now. :?

That was my thought. Batteries are heavy, especially three. Depends how much power is required, can't imagine the sender unit will need a huge battery but one for a rear mech may be much larger. Some weight saving in the wires but not much. Also a pain in the backside to charge three seperate things up.

Well, the total mAh will be the about same in total I would expect, so maybe only some extra casing materials as far as weight goes (as the total required cells will add up to the same ballpark weight). The less wires the better in an electronic system I would have thought, less pissing about while building. Maybe they will bring out one charger that you plug in to all the batteries at once, seeing as how rarely you need to charge these things I can't imagine it would be much fuss. Wait and see I suppose.

They do know what they're doing these SRAM boys, shame they can't make it look nice at the same time!

They can (well, at least a lot more than Shimano can)... I was reading that scientists are developing a drug which gives people taste. For years they have tried by prescribing glasses thinking that by assuring people have good eyesight it would cure them, but, amazingly they have found that lots of the 'patients' still think Shimano looks good. It's a truly awful problem really.

Have you felt the weight of the Di2 internal battery? It's something like 60g, which is nothing really (compared to cables) and that's a huge thing.
As far as to whether it's a step forward, well fitting all the internal cables can be a right PITA, so possibly yes. They just need to figure out wireless brakes now, because the internal brake cables are even more of a pain to fit!

Haha, I never said Shimano looks good. One of my bikes has the "Washing line" shifters, they look bloody awful but they do work. I was totally against having shimano on a road bike, as it looks much worse than Campagnolo but it does work like clockwork and pound vs performance Shimano beats Campagnolo in my opinion. If money was no object I would have Super Record.
