Well we now know what Bertie meant when he said he was going to wear the yellow jersey this year...

Note, I did say 10 yellow jerseys in the bunch and not 9. :D

Well, they are blue as well you know.. I really don't see the problem?

I did explain why I thought it might be a problem earlier in the thread. :?

Bu.. But it looks nothing like a TdF leader jersey?

You said Lotto is your favorite but that's actually the one jersey that looks exactly like a leader's jersey. The Vuelta that is.

Can you really not figure out what I was getting at?

And? Change that one as well then. For the 3 GTs, teams cannot have jersey that could be confused with the race leader's jersey. So, for example, Lotto have to wear something else at the Vuelta and Tinkoff have to wear last year's kit at the TdF. Can't think of any that of any that are predominately pink...

    It's a good looking shirt.

Not sure what to make of the National kit. The big cross on the Scandi usually are brilliant - why not just stick with those designs?.

I like it. I agree with the Danish Champ's kit, but at least it's not some bastardisation of champ/sponsors colours. But PLEASE, not 'matching' shorts. Team shorts only.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Guessing they won't be allowed to wear it at the TdF and will revert to last year's kit.

I think they'll be okay [to wear it] won't they?
They could always do what ONCE did and have a pink one.

Nice to see a kit with a bit of colour too it!

    :cry::wink:

to be fair, the positioning of the crotched eagle was fairly stand-out....
  • I find it hard enough when the GC leader and the Team classification leaders all wear Yellow helmets!

That's because you're a horse and horses can't apparently see yellow (or blue for that matter)*

*This is supposedly what the animal scientist people say, but and because anecdote passes for fact for some around these parts I think it's crap I had a pony (I know I know) who hated yellow things.
    Correlation is not causation.

  • Better than most, but think Lotto is my favourite of 2014.
    Agree with that statement.

Not sure if it's his but Dowsett rode the Canyon V-Drome at the Revolution track meet.

Can't get the pic up but Dowset had one with a disc on the rear, white bar tape and a 5 spoke front wheel. Not to say this wasn't one of his either though.

That Bianchi looks good in the proper colours, not liking the wheel graphics much though.

No, it belongs to someone on LFGSS.

Judging by the lack of brakes and serious chain set it looks like it might see some track action rather than being part of the rolled up skinny jeans brigade.

There's plenty of people on LFGSS who train and race at Herne Hill. Not many of them are pros though.

Yeah sorry, I meant it isn't a hipster wagon it is a bike ridden on the track rather than the road

The only thing I have ever ridden round Herne Hill was a penny farthing, a long time ago now!

Would love a local velodrome, I suppose the Stratford one will be pretty easy to get to once it opens.

What's with the return of gumwall tyres on Bianchis? First Belkin's Bianchis, now Androni Bianchis.
    Red bikes are the fastest.

Rabobank (which explains Belkin) were riding them for years...
