    Dowsett's new car for 2014

    Cooler than Froome's Jag?

Jags are about as cool as argyle tank tops. Not to mention that Dowsett actually owns that car, not just lent to him to look good ( ) and generate some publicity!

I don't know, Jag are on an upward trend with the F-type. But Froome's has been made to look terrible by the sponsor's message on the door.

    Dowsett's Lotus is very nice.

Yes, I had this conversation in my head.

    "Here is your free jag"
    "Thank you very much"
"Thing is there is some writing on the door"
"Really?, I don't want it then"

That's how the conversation went in my head :D

His Dad was a racing driver, he seems to have inherited the car bug too. Liking that.

I agree.. Jags are on the up.. but I wouldn't take either as my daily driver in all honesty! Need something with space for a bike

The best bit was, one of the pictures he put on facebook of it made the car look like it had a big blue stripe down the middle.

Lotus are nice cars and very racy which figures if his dad was a racing driver (didnt know that). Shame about the colour though - I know they do some really great ones.

It looks like that helmet was the least of his worries, he got "picked up by a whirlwind" while out on the course.

Are POC deliberately trying to make all Garmin-Sharp riders look a bit ridiculous?

when I was a kid I use to cover my bike with multi coloured electrical tape as well.
    .
it looks tack and cheap IMO.
Just fit some wobbly wheels and some hooters on some handle bars and it's ready for wiggles the clown to ride.

The POC TT helmets are the dumbest and ugliest thing EVER.

However, I have to wonder if there is actually something to them. Garmin is a team generally known for their attention to detail in the realm of aerodynamics and it would surprise me if they moved from Giro to POC merely for monetary reasons.

Nevertheless, I will NEVER use one of those helmets, regardless of how fast it may prove to be.

I really like the POC stuff, they are obviously more switched on in terms of design than most in the bike world, but I draw al ine at these helmets!

  • Plus I can say with almost complete certainty that the difference in speed between 2 high end aero helmets won't be a winning margin.

Almost, so your not sure then?
