That was never Dowsett's fault. More the drunk Sky driver.
He didn't have to sit on the Sky rider's wheel.0 -
Lopez puts a huge time in at 21.1Contador is the Greatest0
-
I just saw Elephants from the chopper.
Ian Stannard in 1st 20.260 -
Stannard didn't win 10 secs there Stopped the time too early.0
-
Stannard! Wow.0
-
StanaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaardContador is the Greatest0
-
-
That's how it's done.0
-
Wiggins has "put them to the sword"0
-
-
Sub 20 Wiggins. Impressive with the way he was cornering.0
-
Heavyweight by TrueChampion Wiggins, pure class0
-
yes. If he hadn't cornered "like a girl" he would have gone sub 19:400
-
Very impressive from bradders... Particularly as he was riding the corners like I do...0
-
So Wiggins stops on all the corners and puts that sort of time in...ridiculous speed.
I really hope Martin brings his best.Contador is the Greatest0 -
And a even more impressive time from Wiggins, he looked very slow through some of those corners too0
-
Can't believe that last guy didn't even have a set of clip ons fitted?0
-
Oh no! Rumour that Deignan's broken his collarbone0
-
Elmiger has 20.48 which is a very respectable timeContador is the Greatest0
-
Loving the contradiction of the criticisms of Wiggins for cornering cautiously and the guttedness about Deignan breaking his collarbone...
Think that caution in those conditions is probably v sensible....http://www.georgesfoundation.org

Well, people have picked up on wiggins wet cornering in the Giro, and so when they see wiggins go round a wet corner, they think he's doing it slower than loads of others, fact is that everyone is riding them cautiously and some people are just getting unlucky or pushing it 2% too much and getting caught out.0 -

Wiggans has a much higher cadence and more aggressive face, however Dowsett looks faster on the straights, more relaxed and fluid going through the corners.
How can you tell speed by 'looks'. You can't.
That's why I used the word "looks" because to my eye he did look faster.
Turns out my eye is crap.0 -
Dont think anyone was being critical. I certainly wasnt intending to be. I think the point people were making was that its impressive that he can ride cautiously and still post a time like that.0
-
2nd Yates 21:28Contador is the Greatest0
-
2nd with 21:28, think Stannard would have something to say about that (maybe that's the 2nd Yates)0
-
I think they should have let some of the tigers loose.
That would have spiced things up a bit.0 -

Well, watching styles or not you're not the only one who expected Dowsett to go quicker, I did, and I expected him to be right up there on this one in these conditions.0 -
Great to have a 10 to watch on a wet Tuesday lunchtime. Great inclusion in the TOB, especially as we've all ridden them, albeit not as slowly as some of this lot0
