    Neatly covered. Obviously had a pair of scissors (or tore it the right way)
    I realise this is a tiny benefit, but surely it's marginally better looking down at something neatly covered, than Contador's mess? Was Contador pic from race or training?

    FF's comment about spoiler absence above seems revealing. I thought he had eyes only for Bertie, but clearly he's been cheating on Bert all along.

    ^ Wow - yours is much bigger than mine

    Is that anything to do with the way you rub yourself up and down the saddle on your TT bike ?

    Yes, I was looking at that and trying to make it fit the profile / distances but struggled.

    Anyone else got an idea of what the relevant numbers relate to ? The arrows presumably relate to ascents or descents but I still couldn't quite match it up to the stage that it relates to (stage 9)

    Check out the hi-res link then compare with the profile below. Correspond to points along the course, tv start, uphill downhill, feed, corner;

    Also look at the bottom of the page to match up the numbers:

    Solid racer.
    I seem to have a memory of you calling Evans something like 'a passionless, parasitic wheel sucker with no panache'

    Is this memory correct?

    Personally, I think there is much to be said to being open to persuasion that one was wrong about someone or something rather than being dogmatically wedded to a particular viewpoint. Not particularly fashionable on this board I know.

    There's a difference between not maintaining a consistent position and admitting to being wrong though. To be fair though I'd say Frenchie is generally pretty consistent. I've also come to the realisation that he just likes winding people up and the more they bite the more he does it. He should take up fly fishing, he'd be good at it.

    There's being open to persuasion and then there's expressing very strong opinions at opposite ends of the scale - I don't think there's much to be said for being so forcefully fickle

    Pross, thanks. I hope I am consistent but can sure make mistakes and also am very happy to change my opinion where enough information or evidence is provided to the contrary.

    Re Evans my posts are pretty consistent.

    I dont intend to wind anyone up or get any pleasure from it.
