us postal under armstrong used to train around the bay of roses area , based inland here. David Millar also lived there for a while I read.

I see some of us were up at 8am bst , 7am bwt, checking the forum . One can only hope this was before setting off for a big day out in such superb weather.

girona and the surrounding area to the coast or into the hills is brilliant cycling country, especially with a robust fattish tyred bike that you can do the unsurfaced roads on.The city centre is very nice too. Not big but lots of cake .
