While we're waiting for the action to start, I'd like to commend my feel-good moment of the tour: Frenchie's Camargue horse. Cheer up Frenchie :D

Going to order pizzas for dinner.

    Any requests?

Dominoes with the hot-dog in the crust.. so wrong.. but so right

This is a slightly more classy establishment I'm afraid. Organic, wood fired oven type place with an amazing home made tiramisu.

Cannondale finish the race with 8 riders.

IIRC that ends a lengthy streak of finishing GTs with the full squad intact.

    (can't find the stat)
That run ended at last year's Vuelta - it was 11 consecutive Grand Tours.

    Top knowledge.

Cannondale finish the race with 8 riders

Ending their streak of finishing GTs with a full squad at 1.

So Froome doesn't know how to drink or smoke, but like Sherwen said, he'd never been to Britain until he was 7 years old.

Can we all take just a moment to congratulate Chris Froome on a job well done?

The wardrobe choice was perfect, Chris. Black shorts set the yellow off wonderfully. Chapeau.

Things I won't miss now the tour has ended...

    1. Those god awful Nintendo adverts
    2. Not getting any work done
    3. The Spanish Inquisition of Chris Froome

  • Scrolling down this page, looks like the horse is shaking it's head at me.

Froome to send Porte back to the car for a champagne at 5k to go?

It better be a big pizza we're all coming round with our horses.

BTW did anyone hear the itv podcast last night when someone asked Boulting (I think) what the protocols are for behind the stage for winning the stage victors jersey....he was asking on behalf of Kittel !!

I did, I thought that was interesting. As was Matt Rendell's clear man love for Titchie Richie.

I've ordered some mixed salads for the horses. I hope they like rocket?
