Poor SK having to muster the energy to explain to CK why a few seconds here or there today won't make tomorrow interesting. FFS.

If it doesn't work out, I hear Spurs are looking for a new centre forward... worth a punt?

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

plenty to race for here in terms of podiums and polka dots. If I were Froome I'd definitely be angling to carry off both jerseys and would ride with that intent. He isn't the first Brit (plastic or whatever) to win the Tour and he's unlikely to win SPOTY after Murray but he could do something that no-one has done for a very long time
I'll be absolutely gutted if Froome takes the KOM.
If he does it will be a rare occasion when the best climber in the race actually takes the Jersey.

Movistar drilling this to escape over Mont Revard, or just to wear out Alberto?

What Moray said. The polka dot is a bit like the green now. Not for the best sprinter but for a chancer that hoovers up intermediate points.

Definitely thinking someone is going to go for it in a big way over Revard. Might even be Alberto if he wants to go down fighting instead of clinging onto a podium

The green jersey isn't for the best sprinter and the polka jersey isn't for the best climber though. They're for who does best in those competitions.

To win the Green Jersey though you have to be one of the best sprinters. The Polka Dots has recently been won by riders who definitely weren't one of the best climbers.

I wonder if Froome cares about winning the polka dot jersey. Don't remember him being asked.

Politically, probably best for Froome if a Frenchman wins it. Doubt if Froome gives a monkeys though.
