    First half hour was fun.

There was an interesting half hour in the middle and the last half hour was fun.

The other 4.5 hours were like pfffft

In a kind of Lichtblick-esque scenario.....

Has there ever been an occasion where the leading rider has come a cropper on the final stage after the champagne moment and not finished the race?
  • Most boring stage so far!

Regrettement, non. But one year it still wasn't decided so they had to race for it on the last day.

Right. Off to Paris. Long drive this evening. Sandwiches to make.

For what it's worth, based on people's experience of the Etape,I epxect tomorrow to be not much more than a parade, before Sunday evening's Cavendishfest.

Navarro is a cracking guitar player and has just cropped up with a reasonable stage position for Cofidis. Now 8th on GC!!
