    Me and wife were sunning ourselves round the pool in Turkey when I got a text from our youngest son saying happy father's day. (We'd forgotten all about it) Got home to find a card and a giant bottle of Hoegarden in the fridge from our eldest. And a retro puncture repair kit with steel tyre levers and patches thick enough for agricultural use.

    They are 21 and 24 respectively, so it's nice they remembered.

    Ever thoughtful only daughter got me a tin of bike elastoplasts, a IoM coin with two cyclists on it, a pen with cyclists on it and a IoM thimble - in joke- with a motor!!!!bike on it.

    Thank god she lives in London.

    Birthday pres is a paid for weekend to see motorbike racing at Oliver's mount in Scarborough in September. Does she know the difference?, mind her 'hero' is guy martin so she could be forgiven.
