Not loving what we can see of the Belkin jersey.

Thought that was Tulip Computers kit for a second there

Me too. We're showing our age.

    OMG!!!!!!

Have you seen what they've done to the FDJ kit? The horror

I can't upload a picture right now, but Inner Ring just tweeted it.

I wish teams would stop changing kits and national jerseys for the TdF. It takes most of the 21 days for me to get used to them.

FDJ, Belkin, new national champs; any other new kits to get used to?

I concur. How they dare remove the white is beyond me. Such a backward step in the style stakes even if the kit itself is decent as a standalone.

The shirt itself looks bloody good. But FDJ really should be white..!

Andy - Surprised that it took this long?? He's been a waste of a place for the last 5 years or so...

strong team from Garmin... plenty there to animate a stage or two...

Is Talansky the leader? Thought I saw reference that Martin might get it...

Speaking of stuff at the roadside (which we were on page 6). I was in Brittany last week and saw the giant straw Weetabix looking people in yellow, green and polka dots ready on a junction.

Keep an eye out for them on the run in to St Malo.

Hmmm. Cruel of Vaughters to have deprived us of our fun at Transitions Tyler's expense. But...he aint gonna stand a chance against the big guns so no point in using up that spot.

That team selection smacks to me of:

They know Ryder doesnt stand a chance of podium
Stage hunting inc trying to win the TTT (one of the reasons for the 6-month neo Dennis being there, before they withdraw him part-way through the Tour)
    Talanksy for maillot blanc
Good experience for Dan Martin as (maybe joint leader) and shooting for a top 10 spot?

Can't help thinking that it may have been the more senior Doms rounding on him saying "so you re expecting us to bust our balls for a guy that we know does not have a Spaniard's chance in the dope test's* chance of ever actually winning a stage....AGAIN?!?!?!?"

Looks like he's been digging through LLS's suitcase of courage.
"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

"As I've said every year: A year without a Tour de France is a lost year," Eisel told Sky Sports. "The last nine years, it has never really affected me. Of course there have been times when it was down to the last minute and you did not know… And this year is the first time that I'm definitely not there."

    http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/eisel-a ... -lost-year

A team cant take everyone so bound to be people disappointed

Maybe he should have performed better early season and showed he deserved to come

Maybe riders should also focus on other races rather than just trying to get into the Tour to enjoy the glitz and glammer

Should have talked to your buddy Cav about how Sky dont give a shi t

"I've no intention of being a conformist in this race. Not in the slightest," Contador told The Independent.

"Cycling is not all about mathematics," he said. "You have to see what your rivals are doing. Fortunately, we're not machines and circumstances inside a race can change so fast. This sport isn't one that you can control as easily as others. This Tour, in particular, could continue to be wide-open right up until the final mountain top finish at Annecy on the second last day."

Factory boys in black and blue are going to get a few surprises. Going to be fun watching them racing against a fully in form racer. You can`t control pure talent like a dog. Fuoriclasse.

    contador_zps5c3aaff9.jpg

Andy talking confidently. I really hope he gets some form, Froome goes awol and Contador and him go mano to mano and do trackstands on HC just because they can. Failing that, I hope he goes for the Polka dots.
