Yep, im 16. Yeah i know i cant drink in pubs, but im calling it a pub bike in here since everyone else is. So i dont want people to read it thinking "what is he talking about?". My personal definition of the pub bike is the "tesco bike". Just named it that because i ride the worst bikes to tesco to do shopping.

Heres my "pub" bikes, and some former "pub" bikes.

These were all once pub bikes, but have been permanently decommissioned. Apart from the upside down one...thats my full on DH rig...joking. Thats going too. I regret stealing that silver + purple one back from the thief (whoever it was)

This one was my main bike. Bloody love this thing!!! Was a great ride until the Arrowhead came along, then this took up the role of "pub" bike, then i eventually nicked the polished rims from it for my GT. Hence it is now decommissioned. It will return, definitely. Lovely drivetrain on it, (not now though, its rusty)

Diamondback Curaca: it is fully rideable, my dad actually built most of this up because he liked the frame. He rode it a couple of times and then thats it. Now its a "pub" bike that i use occasionally to go down the shops with.

    Assorted spares/junk etc for them:

Featherweight Ridgeback that i got for free, someone was throwing it out, i knocked on the door and they said i could have it! Its oversize, and i dont really like it tbh. Not my kind of bike. Would make a proper good pub bike though. Need a hangar for it...

something similar was done in Sweden but also held the glasses for the Schnapps

I find it makes too much noise so use a camel back for the Vodka Red Bull. and a bottle opener for any Beer bottles i find.

Waiting for the scrap man to come so i can lob the frames and useless parts in the back of his truck. But i dont think he comes anymore...

I guess you still classify the Raleigh and the Diamondback as scrap?...

I don't think the Raleigh or diamond back or scrap, but they aren't exactly good condition or looked after as such are they?...... Do t get me wrong, I like a good retro bike as much as the next guy, but only if its mechanically sound.

They were both purchased second hand and in a right mess when i got them. Raleigh came from the car boot many years back, and the diamondback was bought from a friend.

The diamondback is fully functional now, but the Raleigh has been neglected unfortunately. I spent alot of time on that bike getting it to work and changing everything around on it. If you have a look in the picture you can notice that it has V Brakes now instead of the center pull ones which were original. That was actually my first ever time setting up brakes from scratch. Served me well for many years so i did look after it alot in that time.

But i pulled the rims from it for my GT since the ones i had failed me. So after the rims were gone i didnt really want to ride that anymore, so its ended up as it is now.
