OK, this is the technical descent apparently.

Nibs sending a man down the road ready for descent. Ryder showing he's got a good hand of cards.

Great view from the motorbike, as the riders pass.

No room for error on this road.

Lets hope for no nasty aerial tricks over the barriers.

That is a beautiful descent. I love a bit of vertical road-engineering. :D

  • Ryder showing pure panache. Good for him.

Yes he should keep his powder dry a bit more and sit in.

    But he's a racer and he's racing

I was interrupted by a colleague and now I have no idea who is where on the road. Can anyone help me?

Dont you just love the Giro. Hands down better than the Tour. Parcours made for the attackers and you get a lot more panache. Beautiful roads too.

Ryder. class act - mentioned him before saying how he was going super well. Would love for hiom to perform again like last year.

You earn the Giro, you don`t get it gifted. It is also a race where individual talent clearly supersedes team force.

Samu should try and use the descent to get some seconds, and he can sprint to pick up the bonus. Would narrow GC.

Henao and Uran are both there.

This move is blowing more riders out of GC contention then I would have thought.

Ryder doing well as lanky men don't go round corners too well. Something to do with a higher centre of gravity.
Think he's trying to stop Nibs from getting away.
