How about the triathletes who constantly tell you "my 21:07 first split was followed by a 22:54 second at an average heartrate of 167, the first transition was a little slow at blah blah, I came back a little during the last half split of the bike which was blah blah blah. Then blah blah blah blah and blah blah into the run at blah blah."

I think I could fall asleep standing up when people talk about things like that.

Whilst we were waiting to get going on todays run there was a guy standing behind me with his smartphone showing some other guy his strava segments and discussing his max output and all that stuff, I was rummaging in my back pocket for a stapler so as I could staple my eyelids to my forehead

Why did you have a stapler in your pocket?

I have a device for getting stones out of horses hooves in mine... I just know it will come in handy on day

Red bikes are faster than those of any other colour
Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.
