I actually quite like that bike. Just the muddyfox in question in the original post was nowhere even near as good as that.
I had a Raleigh Firefly that looked exactly like that. I had red grips and a black and red seat but i didnt get a picture of its final form since it got nicked. Loved that bike 11 months since its been gone.
Oh, and nice shirt0 -
I used to sell Fireflys at Halfords, were £77.620
-
Blimey, thats cheap! Well how bad of a bike was it at the time would you say? Cromoly frame so im guessing cant be the worst bike of the time.
I was probably the 10th owner of this bike. Haha. My dad picked it out of a skip apparently and fixed it up for himself. Then my brother had it and apparently buckled the wheels up by crashing into a fence, then it was in my garden for a good 4-5 years. Then i decided id make bikes my hobby. And it became my first 26er bike.
I use the word apparently because i was like 5-6 when my dad got it.0 -
it's not a full cromo frame - one tube.
Was a entry level MTB.0 -
Ohhh? Thats a bit odd.
Cheers.0 -
It is so they can put a cromo sticker on it lol.0

I like the whole triple triangle thing and the over running top tube. Its unique and i think very nice looking.0 -
And apparently very strong too. Never tested the strength on one just yet though so i wouldnt know myself.0

They have to be strong to be ridden by fat bar stewards.I don't do smileys.

GT Make some very nice bikes. Supersonic owns a couple of them. The Athertons and Mark Beaumont own some more.
Yours is shlt though.0 -
Not had a thread here nearly as entertaining as this since... ages ago0 -
Thats funny because i see a fat man going at like 2 mph on a nice brand new GT Avalanche when im on the way to school. I hate it when people are on bikes that majorly exceed their abilities.0

Does a Chucker still count as a nice GT in your opinion?
And how about this one, this was my dads but he said i could have it. My dad likes the Marin more. Its got deore shifters and brakes (apart from the front brake) Its higher spec than my Arrowhead. Double wall Alesa rims too.

My bike does not exceed my ability....0
-
I'd be terrified if it did frankly.0
