So another interesting day on the cards - no looked today but going to assume a break away or 2 with the fireworks happening at around the 100Km to go mark?

Climb suits Quintana. Had Rodriguez been here he would have wiped the floor with this stage.

Starts at 7% levels out mid-way then last 475 metres at 21%.

    There's a break and Bardet's in it:

Txurruka (CJR) - of course - plus Cardoso (CJR), Navarro (COF), Landa (EUS) & Bardet

    They've got a gap of 3.50

    69k into the race.

Edit: meant 100Km gone not to go. At around or just before the Cat 3 climb

Gaps come down now to just over 4 with a small train on the front, but think its just a time management thing of not wanting to bring them back too soon.

Fair point being talked about on ES about andy schleck. Now who would not want a showdown between him & Bert on the final climb.

I know its wishful thinking so don't go bashing me for saying it

Tux in the break again. Looks like this KOM is close to sewn up. Happy for him.

Looks like the break away are going to let Tux get the last points too!

Think its about to, guess the GC teams & climbers teams want to get to the bottom of the final climb with it together and then it will just string out and numbers fall out the back.

BTW I didn't realise it was so steep at the end!

Looks smooth but thought he looked like he was on the rivet yesterday - guess he is looking to try to get the racing miles in with this race?
