In the Olympic road race, it appears no-one was faster than Tejvan - despite the drafting etc. However obviously it wasn't a single effort, that's not actually surprising. It's obviously possible that someone was faster (if they surfed the group from the back to the front) but the majority of times the bunch went up in over 5 minutes.

Or since, given there are speed humps on the road now. I reckon they hit you about 0.5 - 1 second a hump, particularly once you are avg 16mph+ (which I am not). They are pretty gentle humps, but they knock your flow.
Fastest person in 2013 seems to be 5:12. on a 60 mile ride.
of course the Olympians were doing 155 miles0 -
