  • Dry forecast.

And wind from the east, but not as strong as it's been all week.

That's a still from a documentary Wilfried de Jong made a couple of years ago, with super-slow-motion images. I can only find a trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1QXKjc1 ... ata_player

Any epic stories from any Challenge riders? You must have finished by now?
Survived it, with semi-blisters, aching hands and arms and of course legs. Man, it feels great. We lost a couple of bottle cages and I nearly took out my mate with a dropped bidon but otherwise fine. We latched onto 4 fast Dutchmen but there was no hiding from the strong NE crosswind. ARenberg is ridiculous - worse than I remembered when I rode it a few years back with another forumite, insane to race over that.

Anyone know roughly what's the latest time we could get into the velodrome to watch the finish? Failing that can anyone recommend a bar in/near Roubaix we could watch it on TV? Hope to catch it at st python & ARenberg first :D

You lost 2 bottle cages? Blimey!

Did you make it to Saint Python? That's the first sector I was on today!

2 out of 3 of us each lost a bottle cage, 1 temporarily. No punctures though (I probably didn't need 100psi. ouch).

We were at Quiévy à Saint-Python, sector 25. I took some photos.

Frenchie - any good roubaix shower pics this year?*

*note to lurker who knows little of cycling. This is probably a less pervy question that it looks.

Ahh, I was at Saint Python, sector 24. I did look at going to the corner you were on the day before, but thought it would be easier to get away from the end of sector 24. Cool photos though. What are the different colours for on your sector chart thingy on your bike?

Here a some of my photos and vids!
