I'm about 6'1 and use a 58cm Tarmac.
Looking to purchase a 56cm Supersix Evo or Scott Foil if it feels right. The Tarmac feels too lengthy, as I am mostly legs and little torso.

Check out the geometry info on Cannondales website, very informative.

6ft, and have a Cannondale 56cm frame.
After an excellent bike fit yesterday it now fits like a glove!0 -
Weird one this one. I'm 5'10" and ride a 56cm Tarmac. But I've just bought a R872 and I've gone for a 50cm version. Their sizes seem, at first glance very different0

I'm 5'10 (long legs, average torso) and was always on a 56cm frame. Now on a 51cm and it fits like a glove. Seat is right up but!0 -
5'8 and a 54" Specialized.“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring”

5' 6" short ars*e with stumpy legs, so a 49cm Ribble which fits a treat.
The sizing is nothing like the Ribble chart above, as the frame geometry is different to the R872.0 -

I'm 5'5" and ride a 52cm spesh and a 48cm de rosa."Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

5''7" and ride a 54cm Roubaix. Now need a 52cm but I bought it when my gut stopped me reaching the bars on the smaller frame. I now ride the 54 on the drops 90% of the time.0

6'1", 34" inside leg (cycling measure floor to crotch, not trouser seam), 56cm Mekk Poggio 2.5 roadie but 61cm Specialized Sirrus Pro commuter. Both seem to work well, although I'm beginning to think I could use more stretch on the Mekk. Will have a bike fit before buying a "proper" bike for the summer.0

I'm 180cm tall
my dolan commuter is a 55cm top tube and it;s spot on - my summer special is a vitus with an effective tt of 54cm and it;s a little on the small side so I have a 120mm stem on it, no big deal"I get paid to make other people suffer on my wheel, how good is that"

Or even last years model - where all evo frames were the same hi-mod frame, (this year there are three different frames):

6'4" with 35" inseam. I have a 60cm CX bike and a 20" MTB. I seem to struggle with sizing because with large frames the reach is often too much for me (unflexible with long legs and relatively shorter torso). I often end up putting much shorter stems on my bikes in order to feel comfortable.
I should probably go for one size smaller in bikes and accept having a lot of seatpost showing.0 -
5' 9" with 32" inside leg. Had a bike fit and they stuck me on a 56cm Scott. Had to have a shorter stem but fits a treat.0

5'7" with a small (537mm effective TT) PX RT-57 which fits just right, with 20mm layback and 100mm stem. My previous PX SL Pro Carbon was a medium (547mm effective TT) and was okay at first but became more uncomfortable in reach after two or three years, I swear I have shrunk a little. Apart from getting the right size frame I found SRAM controls and short reach/short drop bars make a world of difference for my size and small hands.Giant XTC Pro-Carbon
