These are all dream bikes up to now lol.

You did say "any" bike. :D

In that case I would have the road version of that "lattice" type frame...

    Delta 7 Sports - Ascend

    w6Yv9.jpg

    KtU68.jpg

Is that stupid or is that stupid!

Yes, the mud getting stuck in the frame would be nasty, but this isn't a thread about spending money so who cares. :P

If you think that looks brittle or whatever, they even make a MTB frame of this thing, yeah I can really see that thing hammering it down a bumpy track. :!:

If I had say £6,000 spare for a bike, of course I would actually want to ride something more normal than this, but if you're talking about ANY free bike, yeah this lattice thing, just for a laugh. Can always sell it and get something more realistic like the Madone.

Here's some really absurd bikes... well the prices are absurd. For example the first one is half a million quid. Just rolls off the tongue doesn't it "half a million quid" lol.

my dream bike would need to be custom made because i haven't seem it yet. it would have a custom paint job. maybe a Baum
    it would consist of;

electronic group set - i like the campag one
enve wheels with chris king hubs and disk brakes. the disk mechanism will be low profile and aero - like they will be in about 5-10 years from now. the tyres will be tubeless. but these will take another few years to perfect for road use.

the battery will be housed internally
bars and stem = cinelli ram 3
the frame will have built in sensors like the Trek. all cables will be internal
    regards,
    dbb

Would have to be black and orange (Euskaltel Euskadi colours) but unlike the team bikes, I only use Campag on the road, so no Shimano for me.
  • I love the idea of supporting UK made bikes (and I have one) but I can't look past the Wilier Zero 7. I'd have it with Campag Super Record EPS, ENVE 3.4 SES on CK hubs, ENVE bars, stem and seatpost.

I'd have a One-77 car but that bike is hideous and an embarassment to Aston!

I like straight lines, so would have to be a custom job from Legend, Parlee, Seven or Baum. Wouldn't really mind :D

"I'm a man of simple needs, expensive, but still simple."
Love that thought and have stolen it for my 2013 signature update!

Bikes - My choice last year would have been a Pinarello Dogma but now starting to dream of a Colnago since I saw a photo of a lovely black one, in a recent Evening Standard article about Rapha's boss who owns it.

I saw and picked up (literally...to feel weight) a Cipollini RB1000, with Dura ace 9000 Di2 and Zipp 404 Firecrests.

The frame was stealth, black with black decals, and weighed in just under 14 lbs. The bike was top spec, bars stem everything, it was stunning in the flesh!!.. build cost was approx £10.5k.. i was lost for words on how nice it was!.

This is now on my dream bike, my Cervelo used to be until i bought it, then becomes boring.

Had a nose around, they make some exotically priced machines, definitely in the 'dream bike' category!
