If you could have any frame, with any set-up, what would it be?

I still have to think about this one!

Right now, there is something about Colnago bikes that I absolutely adore! M10 and C59 Italia!

Cervelo R5, SRAM Red/Dure Ace, Zipp wheels, or Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL3/4.
  • Most likely a custom Mercian in 953 or one of Columbus's stainless tubesets, with Royce or Chris King hubs, whichever top end groupset took my fancy, and probably q-rings, because I used to use Biopace.

If I had that (and had that sort of money), I'd consider buying something soulless but functional in carbon fibre. ;)

Probably a Nice Pinarello Dogma 65.1 Think 2 -> I'd have to think seriously about Dura-Ace Di2 vs Campagnolo EPS though.

I don't have a dream bike, but the dream of a garage full of dream bikes. My dream road bike is going to suck on the days I want to mountain bike and likewise my dream downhill bike is not going to my dream daily commuter.

I want the Leno garage of bikes.

Happy with my lot although I wouldn't say no to a Foil Premium or Plasma Premium.

Something made by a trained craftsman, probably in metal in a small workshop, not is a big faceless shed in the far east.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • I don't know enough to even have a dream bike.

<pollyanna>I'm just enjoying the one I have.</pollyanna> But really, I am.

A fully carbon fiber 6.5KG, equipped with Di2 Raleigh chopper in lime green! Surely it couldn't get any better?
  • A mint condition Wilier Ramato or a Parlee, but this changes weekly.
  • Look 695 Mondrian with di2 Dura-Ace.

I'd have a made to measure Legend HT 10.5 Carbon or Il Re Titanium fitted with Super Record EPS. Wheels would be Lightweight Obermeyer SE with Corsa Evo CX tubs. Finishing kit to suit the look of the bike but probably Thomson stuff, saddle TBC after trying a few and Cinelli cork tape. The frame will be painted in the special Alfa red that is used in the hand-painted Alfa Romeos. Not that I've ever spent any time fantasising what I will buy when I win the Euro Millions!

A tastefully kitted out Colnago Master, oh and also something like the BMC Impec would be nice.
