I wrapped the seat post in vinyl and had the bar tape in black. New black brakes and cages too. Looking at 105 bb and chain set very soon + after a nice set of wheels.Giant TCR Composite 30

Heat shrink tubing from places like Maplins would be a good solution, and is available in a variety of colours 8)WyndyMilla Massive Attack | Rourke 953 | Condor Italia 531 Pro | Boardman CX Pro | DT Swiss RR440 Tubeless Wheels

That's an interesting mix of components being that the groupset, brakes and wheels are from different manufacturers. I guess it's often tempting to match everything but this looks great and no doubt performs great too. Lovely bike, you've inspired me to put skin walls on my Van Nicholas Chinook now.0 -

This is my ex-Pro Tour Scott Addict Team Ltd. It's the super light HMX carbon, integrated seat post version. Orginally ridden by the Saunier Duval Prodir team which included riders such as David Millar and Iban Mayo and was shortly disbanded after Ricardo Ricco's positive test in the tour. F & F's sourced from Scott Switzerland after that by the original owner who rode it very seldomly, it lived in his basement until I bought it from him and built it up with SRAM Red, it had done very few miles. Done a lot more now!
Fits me like a glove, climbs like a mountain goat, very stiff and responsive, yet comfy too. Have ridden many centuries on it including the Bowland Badass. Despite hearing that Addict's are a little twitchy downhill I find it descends and corners like it's on rails. very confidence inspiring. I'm sure some bling wheels would be nice but Ugo's Velocity A23's are just right for some of the rough roads I often have to ride.
SRAM Red partnered with Yokozuna cables provides incredible shifting, instant changes and never a missed shift. Really impressed by the PX CNC brakes too.
The only problem with it is I love its ride so much that I just don't lust after another bike anymore. I'm more worried about whether I'll ever be able to afford a replacement as good when that day comes!

No, they're not shorts but full length tights. It was so bl**dy cold I had both tights and leg warmers on!!WyndyMilla Massive Attack | Rourke 953 | Condor Italia 531 Pro | Boardman CX Pro | DT Swiss RR440 Tubeless Wheels

Frame: Feather Cycles (Columbus XCR for lugs, Richard Sach “Nuovo Richie Series” lugs, hand carved)
Forks: Feather Cycles stainless, brushed fork crown.
Bars: Nitto Noodle Mod 177
Stem: Feather Cycles custom, 120mm -17 degree

Groupset: Campag Chorus
Seat: Fizik Arione, custom covered by Mick Peel "Busyman".
Seat Post: Nitto S60 27.2mm
Pedals: Speedplay Zero Stainless
Wheel set: Self-built Ambrosio Nemesis laced 32 hole 3 cross using Sapim CX-Rays to Royce Mid Flange front, Venus rear with Royce skewers and shod with 25mm FMB Paris Roubaix tubs.
Accesories: The usual Garmin add-ons, also I've got a set of painted to match pin-stripe mudguards for winter duty.
Weight: 8.0kg sans fenders.
The theme for the bike was to be a modern classic, hence the lightweight stainless Columbus tubeset silver brazed traditionally using lugs. The wheels are classic 32 hole 3 cross but with modern lightweight spokes. I wanted a bike I could ride all year round and something less blingy and more comfortabe for longer days than I can manage on my Enigma Echo. I'm so pleased with how it turned out and after a 200km ride a few week back I can say it has fulfilled it's design brief !!!
The paint scheme is based on the a very cool custom 1968 Porsche 911 R by Magnus Walker. I saw the documentary he was featured in called Urban Outlaw last year and fell in love with the paint on that car, note the "air-vents" machined into the top of the seat stay caps !!!

whats up with the stem and headset. that a threaded steer with a quil aheadset adapter or summit?
the stem is plush"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. What we're witnessing here is the world's most high profile mid-life crisis" Afx237vi Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:43 pm0 -
It's a thread less steerer, thread less headset.0
