A quick swap out of the saddle sees me finally done. Nothing more to add. Ever ;)

Wyndy Milla Big Geranium. Niklas Gustavsson rode this frame in the 2011 U23 World Championships. It just so happens that his bikes fit me quite well. Which is nice...

That's quite tame for them, I've seen some bonkers paint jobs they've done!

Looks great - really like the colour.
  • Cheers. Yeah it's really tame for them, but the 'gay boy blue' fitted nicely for the world champs.

Is that frame not too big for you? That's quite a short stem and there's hardly any seatpost showing. It would look 10 times better if the frame was smaller. Not that it doesn't look awesome as it is :D

Nope it's fine. The stem looks short 'cause the bars are at a slight angle; it's 110mm and is 10mm lower than in the dimensions below. Lack of seat post is 'cause it has a horizontal top tube. My 58cm, compact framed Trek has 3cm more seat post showing than the 61cm Enigma.

The photo is also from a crap angle, so it looks a bit odd

    Why ?

Short TT length and wheelbase for height of seat tube, seeing as custom made - head tube has a lot of steerer showing.

However, that's a comment on how it looks, not how it rides/fits you...

If it was a compact frame, at 61cm I'd agree with the seat tube comment, but it's not. I'm tall and it's a classic shaped frame, so it looks huge. As mentioned, dimensionally it's pretty close to my Trek. You could shorten the seat tube by 3cm and have the same outside dimensions, but it would probably look a little more conventional.

Agree with the steerer comment, there's 20mm under the stem, it was left at 30mm when it was built, so that I could play around with the bar height. I've been considering trying it 10mm lower than its current position.

As for the ride, it's fantastic :D

Most classic 61cm frames have a TT of at least 58cm, usually 59. Mine all have ( that's my size!)

    61cm classic, or 61cm compact ?
