Utterly fed up with this weather !! May take drastic action

    Oh yes. Got a nice ride in yesterday ... But rain again today. Means I have have to help missus with housework

    Quite happy that I managed to spend a great morning out on the bike yesterday. One of our group was riding a less than exquisite machine so (was) kindly volunteered to be our pilot fish should the need arise...which it did on only 3 occassions which was a nice surprise. Each time we all seemed to slow down together using ESP allowing the chap to peel off the front and go through the flooding ahead...we then trooped behind on the provisio that it didn't hit his bottom bracket :). Came to within an inch so it was a case of cranks level, unclipped and hoping that one could get through freewheeling, quite fun really.

    There were some awesome sights at the river crossings, specially around by Pershore/Evesham way. Quite terrifying in fact and my legs felt a bit wobbly stood on some of the bridges looking at the raging torrents below.

    Forecast tomorrow...dry all day except piffing down in the morning...just when I am planning a spin :) Time to dig out that rain jacket and flippers.
