so good in fact i'm going to have a second one.

Only one coffee and sausage roll this month then?

MF realises that maybe sausage rolls aren't the most efficient of training foods so he decided to supplement them with Melton Mowbray pork pies.
I like your style -- hope you washed the lot down with a pint of cider.

Unfortunately MF had a bad situation with cider when he was younger and ended up vomiting on his girlfriend of the time who was also the fittest burd at the local convent school.

She still hates him 28 years on.

MF had some wine from his parents village. It was as rough as Fat Amy but suited the wonderful theatre that was Pitch Perfectly, well, perfectly.

    Acca-perfect some might say.

    Don't be.

    MF disagrees.

The PP series rocks. all emotions in one facet.

    INSPIRATIONAL
I was forced to watch the first one under protest.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. The others? A waste of time.

MF disagrees, sorry. He watched PP3 after a 7 hour Moët binge and he found it to utterly joyous.

He can't wait for Friday. In fact he started on the Pastis at 6 this evening out of anticipation.

Telling the wee boy they'll expect you to be able to do a 20m wheelie for your cycling proficiency test coming up soon at school -- then demonstrating one -- he's practicing now but not much success yet.

The more someone refers to themselves in the third person, the more I think I know what MF stands for.
And it is not his initials, or melon farmer. Currently works well and makes me chuckle.

This. No one has any idea about what he is on about let alone MF.

The third party thing is all about secrecy anyway - if the Russians/N Koreans are watching then they can probably work out who MF is and where he works but because I have haven't put any information or personal opinions onto the forum they can never work out who I am or where I live or harvest my posts to direct tailored propaganda at me come th enext election.

One step ahead, eh boys? Upstairs for thinking, downstairs for dancing. Ain't me going to be getting carted off in the middle of the night. Lush, see, bud.

Where did you get 52mph from Robby ? Your way out on your calculations his average speed is 53.75 mph and top speed is 54.06mph. No wonder you Russians never made it to the moon.

 I misread the time taken as 1 hr 39 minutes. Funny you should mention that, as I was looking at a Russian Sokol space suit at the weekend.

Yes and not only that even more impressive is his acceleration -- If you take the time required to do 86MLS at an already 54.06 mph and subtract it from the time on his stats ie 1hr 36min you get 33sec so not counting deceleration time ( ie passing his finish line at 54.06mph) he must have accelerated to 54.06mph in 33sec not bad for a fat boy. If you cut that time in half to roughly allow for deceleration to a stop you get 16.5 sec -- he's on a Honda cg 125.

That cheered me up. My second bike was a CB125S. It was great, the S meant it had a rev counter and it was so low geared it would do 1.5 laps of the rev counter when I got it. A change of sprockets and it would top 70mph and was still coming out the wrong end of the red. I reckon with the right gearing that little bike would have broken the sound barrier.

Sat down a short while ago to listen to some easy late night music; Radio 2 fits the bill at this time of night tbh after a bottle of Merlot & a nice glass of Aberlour to finish. And what do I sit down to on the hifi? The world's longest ever mix of Oh Lord Please Do Not Let Me Be Misunderstood. Never-ending, it just went on and on and on and on and on. And on. Acoustic guitars, another chorus, more guitars, some brass. And eventually Craig Charles [for it is he] pops up over the outro to speak. Jeez. Thought it would never end.

    But it was fun.

Also I got made redundant a few weeks ago, and have today accepted one of numerous job offers. Yay me... What to spend the redundancy pot on tho? A bike? Or some better hifi...? Tough call...

A bike obviously. You'll just get fat drinking whisky listening to music.
